Subject: virusalert
If you receive an email with an old subject and no content except a strange
attachment purporting to be a text file such as ATT00014.txt your computer
will be infected with a worm virus if you are running an old version 5.0 IE and
Outlook. You should not click on the message at all. You should not shut
down and restart without removing the Kernel32.exe file as described in the
www.sophos.com link below. Otherwise your computer will continue to
inadvertently forward the virus to everyone in your inbox without your knowledge next time you are online. Our older computer may have sent you just such a file earlier today. A virus programme may not recognise the file early enough to prevent the problem.(as ours did not)
