Some success with DWL-650 and prism2 drivers

Hi there;

I've been battling to get the prism2 drivers working with a dlink
DWL-650 in an ISA adaptor with 2.4.12 and pcmcia-cs. 

In desperation I brutally hacked the prism2.c code to only let the
DWL-650 have 3.3v , ignoring its broken? firmware requests for 5v. 
This fortunately got the card recognised and driver loaded ok, and I
was able to control the interface via iwconfig.

The 'client' cards im using are orinoco's , using orinoco_cs . I've
had these communicating fine with the DWL-650 in adhoc mode ( using
both prism2 and orinoco drivers with the DWL-650 ). However when I run
the DWL-650 in 'Master' mode ( with prism2 drivers ) , the clients
'pick up' the Master ( essid name and MAC address ) but any attemp to
ping from or to the Master results in;

wlan0: dropped recieved packet from <client MAC addr> no ToDS flag (
type=0x02, subtype = 0x00 ) 

errors on the Master and I cant get any TCP connectivity. What does
this mean ? Is there a fix ?
