Action in Tasmania ?

Hi Richard,

I live in Launceston, but will be living in Hobart by the end of the year.
There are about 2-4 of us looking at setting up a wireless network in
Glenorchy (Chapel St - Tolosa St area, possibly as far as West Moonah if in
range)

In case you dont live in that area, there are plenty others who are
interested but I've got NFI about where they are (exactly) or anything like
that, only that they haven't (I dont think) done it yet.

Check out http://www.taslug.org.au/mailman/listinfo/wireless for our mailing
list etc.  I think our page is down :P   If you use IRC you can find most of
us in #vortex on irc.taslug.org.au.

(I've also sent a copy of this email to the others as I'm not sure if
they're on the wireless lists).

Just came accross this page / group.

I'm most keen to get into playing with this wireless networking, and will be
trying to catch up with whats going down.

I notice a link to Tasmania, but it's not ready as yet.

If anyone from Tas preferably from the south could get in contact, would be
good to get together and chat.
