I have a Windows machine which is setup up to have a printer attached.
I am trying to access the printer from Linux.

I am using smbclient version 3.5.6, whenever I do a listing,

# smbclient -L //mywindows -N

This is the output :-

Anonymous login successful
Domain=[XXXXX] OS=[Windows 5.0] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager]

	Sharename       Type      Comment
	---------       ----      -------
Error returning browse list: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
Anonymous login successful
Domain=[XXXXX] OS=[Windows 5.0] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager]

	Server               Comment
	---------            -------

	Workgroup            Master
	---------            -------

The problem is that other windows machine, without doing anything, painlessly able to browse the entire browse list.

I have found many similar problem like mine in the net, but there is no solution. One recommends using a pre-setup user on the window machine. But that missed the point, as other windows machines could browse without problem .......
