Hi,
I get a problem when trying to mount a samba share.
It may be a configuration issue related to rights management but what ?
Command (issued as root) :
mount -t smbfs -o
username=<my_user_name>,passwd=<my_password>,workgroup=<my_workgroup>
//<machine>/<share_name> /<dir>/<sub_dir>
The mount works but the dir is read-only (and group.owner is strange...) :
# ll /<dir>/
total 0
?--------- ? ? ? ? ? /<dir>/<sub_dir>
Configuration :
Fedora Core 6 - kernel 2.6.18.1 with smbfs and cifs
Packages for samba :
samba-3.0.23d-1
samba-common-3.0.23d-1
samba-doc-3.0.23d-1
samba-client-3.0.23d-1
system-config-samba-1.2.35-1.1
gnome-vfs2-smb-2.16.2-2.fc6
pam_smb-1.1.7-7.2.1
Any help welcome, thanks.
