Win xp with sp2, he automatic put firewall on, but i disabled it, you mean there is something else blocking the findsmb ports ?

What would be there one's ?

  Windows XP SP2 has a built in firewall which is most likely blocking the ports FindSMB is using the detect them.

  I am not aware of a way around this.
