Smb IRIX

Hi,
 
I have a litlle problem.
 
i have configured samba server successfully. all window clients can access
the shares on my samba server.
 
now i want that irix machines should also be able to access a windows share.
 
what do i have to do for that. Can IRIX machines access shares on a windows
server 2003 by SMB. 
 
There is no smbmount command in this version of installation Samba2.2.8a for
IRIX.
 
How can I mount this volume?
 
if it´s possible, can some one please give me a link or explanation about
how to do it.
