Hello,

I am running Mandrake Linux with samba 3.0.6 installed, and have mounted a
share from a Snap Server 2200. I am trying to run a backup on this share,
but after about 10 sec of transfer, the entire linux box locks up. All
network services quit responding, keyboard and mouse lockup, vidio freezes,
etc. The only thing I can do is turn off the power. I can backup a NT 4.0
Share without problems (36 gig), but this Snap server just kills my server.

I have upgraded snap as far as I can without buying there new OS. Has anyone
else seen this kind of thing? I don't know what to do next, but I need to
backup this Snap Server.

Any suggestions?

Joseph
