I have a problem connecting my DOS client to one of my Linux servers
running SAMBA. I am using LANMAN 2.1.
>From the SAMBA server I can ping the DOS client and vice versa. But I
cannot connect to a SAMBA share from DOS.
It gives me Error 53: The specified computer name cannot be found on the
network. I have tried putting the SAMBA servers name in LMHOSTS file.
But it didn't help.
Any ideas?
