smb-client problem

Hi,
I am getting the error - 
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
when i run 
# smbclient '\\myserver\tmp'
 
[Actual output of the above command is -]
 
added interface ip=192.168.1.90 bcast=192.168.1.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
password: [password entered]

when i run 
#smbclient -L myserver -U%
