Using nmblookup to browse remote subnets on a WINS network

Thanks for the info Mike. Unfortunately java is not an option for me.
My options are either:
a) find a way to do this with plain nmblookup
b) modify nmblookup to be able to handle this
c) convert jCIFS into c/c++
I really, really want to be able to do a) :)
