Time. Our setup is not standard, has a lot of pieces to it and has been 
in place 30+ years, going back to when we were a SunOS/Solaris shop. 
Everything was eventually moved over to Linux. I'm aware NIS is gone in 
RHEL 10, it was removed in version 9. I managed to get it working though.

Thank you guys for the help, I'll keep it at and see what I can figure out.
