As I said, I do not have any 32 bit computers, so I checked and Debian
still provides 32 bit iso's and 32 bit Samba packages.

The thing is, you could hitting tests that are known to fail, so you
could be worrying about nothing.
However, I suggest you try upgrading to bookworm and with it Samba from
backports.
