[Samba] shares and the use of EnableLinkedConnections

Hi, Luke and others.

Thanks, Luke, for your answer, but I expressed myself poorly when I asked
the question.

What we are trying to do is use logon.bat scripts - one for each user since
each one can have specific mappings.

We are using GPO, but the mappings are not performed automatically during
login, but rather when we configure the registry of each Windows client
machine (no matter which version) by setting the EnableLinkedConnections
parameter to 1, in the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.

According to the research I did, this problem would have something to do
with UAC (User Account Control) in Windows, but I couldn't quite figure it
out.

Thank you for any help

Ricardo
