[Samba] Chrony install and setup for ubuntu 25.04

Hi,
I am paralysed with new ubuntu server 25.04 with samba ad dc and how to
setup and configure chrony. The steps in the guide don't work because I
can't find ntp_signd dir as instructed by the time synchronisation guide:

My current setup is I have my original ubuntu 24.04 samba ad dc computer
which was first time I setup samba ad dc and was going to just trial it but
it's worked well so kept it and have a few computers/systems joined and
using it.

I intend to add the new 25.04 server as another dc and move fsmo over to it
then demote the 24.04 server and decomission it.
This is just home lab, and I could also just start again fresh easily but
like the experience of migrating to new dc and demoting old one.

please help advise what I need to do to get time sync setup and working so
I can progress.

Another side thing is I've noticed that the original dc is still in 2008 r2
levels, what is correct process to get to 2012r2?
