Hi Luis,

I'm always using the latest packages from Bookworm backports. I set up 
my chrony with the same parameters as yours, and made sure there were no 
lingering ntp packages. I also compared your Windows parameters with 
mine, and they are identical. I also rebooted the DC, and the client. 
Unfortunately, it didn't work. What the differences between our DC 
setups are, is just pure speculation.

The fickleness of the time serving component is very unnerving. I have 
succeeded a few times, but mostly not. The DC time server function in a 
Samba AD environment is crucial, and the proposed solutions, while 
working, are more or less hacks. It does not solve the problem.
