Hi James,
It's wonderful news! Seems to be a big leap forward. And kudos to the M$
engineer for the courage.
I'm not blaming or trying to shame anybody here, but as a sysadmin at a
small company, it's extremely frustrating when things are working
sometimes, and after a few updates, they are not. I sincerely appreciate
the efforts of open source software developers, to push things forward.
But if nobody complains, we would just being force fed all the crap that
large corporations are stuffing down our throats. Like most sysadmins I
can dabble in C, C++, Java, Python, bash, Powershell, etc., but not
seriously write a piece of solid server software that's used by
millions. Much less maintain it.
Some are seriously annoyed, but with no means to improve things, and
some are not living day to day with all the problems broken systems
incur, but able to do something about it. Let's take it as a community
effort to improve the world, not a trench war.
Best regards,
Peter
