I do not read 'C', so I cannot comment either way, but the guy that
wrote the code that connects a Samba AD DC to ntp said that ntpsec had
removed the code. So who do I believe ? All I know is that using ntp
on Bullseye with a Samba AD DC worked, but ntpsec with bookworm
doesn't. I am also told that it will work again with trixie, but that
doesn't help now, because whatever the fix is, it hasn't been
backported.

I know getting the trixie version of ntpsec into bookworm-backports
isn't anything to do with ntpsec, but getting it into bookworm-backports
would undoubtedly help.
