At the bottom, under 'FAQ', there is this:

The bind-dns/ folder is empty. Why are no DNS Records saved?

The backup is a backup of the domain, but by default the restore will
be configured for 'internal' DNS. Just use samba_upgradedns to change
to DLZ_BIND9 if desired.

The DNS records are in AD.

Not enough clients to run more than one DC, but used Bind9 ?

I suggest you learn from this and run more than one DC.
