[Samba] Can’t connect outside home directory

Hi,
I have setup Samba on Raspberry Pi, and am able to connect to "PiShare" (/home/charles/share) without any problems; however, somehow I can't connect to "entertainment" (/media/usb-drive/music), which is on an external usb hard drive. I have tried numerous different configurations--and still no luck. Any idea? Happy New Year!
