[Samba] Modify replication topology?

It happens that my current replication topology goes via less connected hosts, and I would like to change that to have more available/connected hosts at the center of the star, or add manual replication routes in addition. Is there a way to modify the created DC replication topology?

I also tried to manually replicate following https://www.blackhole-networks.com/Cheatsheets/Samba4Rep/ but I got errors like

ERROR(<class 'samba.drs_utils.drsException'>): DRS connection to DC1 failed - drsException: DRS connection to DC1 failed: (3221225524, 'The object name is not found.')

Any advice?
