I did the join today and it worked great.

We created the sites and the subnets, now for tests.

At the new site there is an existing domain with a windows-DC, providing 
also DHCP and DNS

I assume we should at first leave that domain on their PCs, then switch 
DNS (static setting at first) to join our samba-domain.

We can't do them all at once, so I need to come up with a procedure.

Setting up a trust between the domains might be overkill, it's only a 
handful PCs.
