[Samba] Samba-4.18 in Debian 12?

Samba for Debian 12 will always be 4.17. You need backports.

Easy as:

echo "deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-backports main contrib non-free" >> /etc/apt/sources.list

apt-get update

apt-get install --no-install-recommends -t bookworm-backports samba samba-vfs-modules
