Very easy, just remove /var/log/journal and I remove it for two
reasons, duplication and the journal is, in my opinion, rubbish (and I
cleaned that up, I normally use a word that starts with s)

Whoever thought using binary logs was a good idea, was, again in my
opinion, deluded.
