Yes he did, but knowing how life works, if something can go wrong, it will.

All of what I wrote is just my opinion, but from my life experience, you 
should only do something if:

A) You know what you are doing
B) It cannot go wrong

I do not think that whomever setup this system up knew what they were 
doing and it could go wrong.
