Forgot that (I do not use openSUSE much), yes it is a problem, using
MIT for the kerberos on a DC is experimental. I initially thought the
OP was using Samba on opensuse as a Unix domain member. In which case,
I suggest he jumps ship and uses Debian for the DC's.
