[Samba] Azure AD Sync what is the possible solution?

Hello All,

Because of Retiring Azure AD Connect 1.x versions will happen on August 31,
2022,

So I've installed a Server 2012 R2 to Join with My Samba Ad DC and would
like to try to this Azure Sync 1.6

I've try with
password hash synchronization -- Fail (unable to login with the correct
password)
Pass-through - (will work without issue but once the Server 2012 is offline
auth will fail)

Please advise any possible solution you all have in mind
