This is AD domain after classicupgrade. And I manually filled uidNumber and gidNumber
for every user out there with actual values used on all systems.  Back in 1998 or so
I was the first user with uid=gid=1000, this goes from that era :)

It works for all users, for every user. Just not the system auth.
