I mean, how can it not be?  They're running linux. After Jeremy's 
message yesterday I checked, and both my bridge and Connect are 
incompatible with S2, but they offered to give me 30% off on replacement 
units, which OCD will drive me to get. The path of least resistance 
would be to just turn SMB1 on in Samba.  However, the S1 software is 
purported to have other issues; i.e. with large collections.
