[Samba] In Samba logs, I get " check_account: Failed to convert" or "check_account: Failed to find local account" error messages.

Sorry, but Samba cannot provide support for sssd, because Samba does
not produce it.

You have provided us with very little to work with, so can you post the
output of 'testparm -s'

Have you a reason for not updating to 20.04 ? That would get you Samba
4.13.x and 4.7.6 is ancient in Samba terms.
