This is really useful info.  If you are able to do a git bisect between
the versions we might be able to work out what is going on here.

This is NTLMSSP, so supported encryption types etc (which are a
Kerberos thing) won't be it.  

This is strange, as we haven't changed much in this area intentionally,
at least that I can recall.
