Mostly, I am saying that people are viewing this question as system
administrators, like you, which is limiting their overall perspective,
because file sharing has uses beyond those most familiar to system
administrators working in organizations, such as companies. Your
professional experience as an administrator should not determine your
full understanding of how people might use Samba.
