[Samba] Very slow copy for small files from Win 10 to Samba server

So just to clarify: the initial authentication for connecting to the
share - is that being handled by something outside of Samba (in our
case, it looks like kerberos) since it can connect to the share, but
when writing files, any authentication should be done via winbind in
Samba >= 4.8.0 - is that correct?
