Network Discovery is a separate protocol and has nothing to do with SMB
v1, v2 or v3.

Network browsing relies on SMBv1, so I suppose you could turn this on
everywhere, but I wouldn't recommend doing this.
Just run 'wsdd' on the Samba servers.
