There is a really useful feature allowing a page to be included in
another:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Transclusion
I used this a fair bit when building the new contribute page, so as not
to have duplicated source when we want the same content on multiple
pages (eg the short and long instructions).
Anther good use is to put the introduction in a transcluded page and
include that in both the source article and the top of the main
article.
