[Samba] Are those file and folder ACLs to be expected?

If you only had Linux clients, then using NFS would be okay, but Windows
relies on SMB and connecting to the same data via NFS and SMB isn't a
good idea. This is further compounded by the fact that you have no idea
just what is set in the smb.conf on the NAS.
