My Samba dc's all run in kvm. I setup them in a time before systemd.
It's more expensive in CPU and RAM like systemd-spawn.
For other VM i use systemd-spawn, there I have some network trouble but
the can depend on misconfiguration or special needs in my setup.
keep in mind that the systemd-spawn container use the kernel of the
"hypervisor" if that is a OK criterion
