[Samba] Folders in Share Grayed Out on Mac

You don’t say what version of Samba is running on your server, although it may not be relevant to your issue. I did find something that may be relevant:

What is the date that Finder puts on the folder?  You may be able to fix it using the “touch” command in Terminal.
