Not that i know off, if i have the time today, i can finaly test the 4.12 packages i builded last week.
I got overloaded with work here, so that halted the 4.12 packages.
Still buzy, but slowly im getting back to normal.
Its build i just have 1 lintian error to fix or get verified its a false error.

So if anyone knows this error: library-not-linked-against-libc and have some info on fixing it
Or confirming its a false positive. Might be lintian bugs of what i did read also.

(it involves these 3 lines of lintian output) the middle one is the one that needs to be fixed.
I: libwbclient0: hardening-no-fortify-functions usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libsys-rw.so.0
E: libwbclient0: library-not-linked-against-libc usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libgenrand.so.0
I: libwbclient0: symbols-file-missing-build-depends-package-field

And as long this isnt fixed, im not releasing my 4.12 packages. ;-)

When upgrading, it might happen you see and upgrade error.
Verify if libldb1 is removed and if not.:
apt-get remove libldb1

And continue the upgrade.

Important here is to make sure the smb.conf is compliant with latest version your installing.
That helps while upgradeding from apt.

Louis
