[Samba] Smart Card authentication

I was trying to find any information on the subj support in Samba/Winbind, but all I could find was configuring Samba 4 domain to allow Smart Card authentication (https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_AD_Smart_Card_Login), whereas what I'm looking for is Winbind client using Smart Card authentication against Windows AD DS. Is that something that is supported at all?
