All the Samba service I am working with are test platforms and have never been
part of or received data from a production AD DC. The software used has
strictly been Samba-4.10.15 which is the latest version available from FreeBSD
ports that is capable of provisioning a domain.

I am unaware if there is an additional step required to remove a demoted DC
from a domain. If so then I failed to carry it out.
