[Samba] Can someone explain why host reports no SOA record for domain on DC?

Looks like your DNS is rotating the nameservers 

Try  : 

# /etc/resolv.conf
search brockley.harte-lyne.ca
nameserver 192.168.18.161


But this is a resolving issue. 
I cant make this fail at my side.
