[Samba] Failover DC did not work when Main DC failed

I have checked on a few desktops in the office and all of them have both DCs as their DNS servers.

When I test with a command prompt and nslookup for either the top-level domain or any server within the domain they give the correct IP addresses - both using forward and reverse DNS checking.

I have followed through the Samba Wiki pages of Troubleshooting and all the desktops pass the DNS and SRV tests etc.

What else can I check or test?!
