[Samba] Strange logs: check_usershare_stat: file /var/lib/samba/usershares/ owned by uid 0 is not a regular file

I'm not thinking anything Rowland (thinking hurts for me :-).
I'm merely reading the log you posted.

There's obviously something strange here. If I send you
some extra-verbose debug patches for that area of the
code can you run with it so I can check something.

I'm starting to have a suspision about the directory
scanning code...
