Louis, that is the Debian package, not the source, yes the package might 
be being maintained by Debian, but the main source does not seem to be 
maintained by anyone. This a bit like you producing Debian Samba 
packages from the Samba source, you maintain your packages, but Samba is 
maintained by the Samba Team.

The Samba source can be found here: https://git.samba.org/

There doesn't seem to be anything similar for smbldap-tools.
