Your problem is that your MAC machines seem to be closing the connection 
and you have 'log level  = 2' in smb.conf. You can probably stop the log 
messages by setting 'log level = 0' instead. This will not stop your 
MACs closing the connection though, you need to look to them to find out 
why they are doing this.
