Hai,

Ive just uploaded a new build.

samba_4.11.1-0.1~buster~2

Changes:
 samba (2:4.11.1-0.1~buster~2) buster; urgency=medium
 .
   * d/control, samba-common-bin: added python3-markdown as needed package
     - fixes:samba-tool schemaupgrade to Windows ServerR2 does not work.

! Thank Dirk S. for reporting that!

----------- THE REPO SETUP ---------------
- Import my key.
wget -O - http://apt.van-belle.nl/louis-van-belle.gpg-key.asc <http://apt.van-belle.nl/louis-van-belle.gpg-key.asc> | apt-key add -

- optional) setup a header line for the repo file.
echo "# AptVanBelle repo for samba." | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list

- In the line below, change the OS and/or samba version to what you want. Shown is debian stretch with samba 4.10.
echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian buster-samba411 main contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list
echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian buster-experimental main contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list

Please note : Upgrading from samba versions 4.10 and down. !

Use : apt-get dist-upgrade --autoremove --purge
This removed libldb1, if its not removed, you will get and error while running samba, so verify that.

Due to the changes in the packages, you might see or run into this :

(german) Versuch, »/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libmscat.so.0« zu
>> überschreiben, welches auch in Paket samba-libs:amd64 2:4.10.9-0.1~buster~1 ist

(English) Attemptted to override /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libmscat.so.0 which is also in package samba-libs.

libmscat has moved from package

Or use --force-yes
Or just remove samba and install it again, just dont purge it.
Or dpkg -i --force-all PATH-TO/samba_4.11.1-0.1~buster~........deb

I'll see if i can put into the next package also.

The current above repo now also contains the armhf packages to test.
These are affected by this bug:
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13754

A new build to test is running atm, so i hope to have that confirmed this today.

So far,

Greetz,

Louis
