Hai, 

I have released the samba 4.9.16 packages today. 

Builded for Debian Stretch and Ubuntu Bionic (amd64/i386)
Repo info : https://apt.van-belle.nl/
(Im updating the site info in few minutes.)

Quick installs use this, get my key: 
wget -O - http://apt.van-belle.nl/louis-van-belle.gpg-key.asc | apt-key add -

Enable the repo :

Debian stretch: 
echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian stretch-samba49 main contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list
Ubuntu bionic
echo "deb http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian bionic-samba49 main contrib non-free" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/van-belle.list

apt-get update 

And install as your normaly would.
