The only thing really wrong with your smb.conf is the idmap config 
lines, for two reasons, do you really need nine hundred million and one 
IDs for something that only requires less than two hundred ? By setting 
the AD range to '1-2000000000', you are overwriting the system users & 
groups and any local Unix users & groups.
