[Samba] Can't Install Printer Drivers

Haven’t been able to resolve this. I don’t think this is a driver (type, manufacturer) problem as it seems to copy the whole set of file to the server in a temp folder. At the end of copying is when the Network Name Cannot Be Found error occurs.

Thing is, on the server that’s accompanied by this error…

Jun 19 08:31:18 Print02 smbd[6518]: [2019/06/19 08:31:18.045935, 0] ../source3/rpc_server/spoolss/srv_spoolss_nt.c:8612(_spoolss_AddPrinterDriverEx)
Jun 19 08:31:18 Print02 smbd[6518]: _spoolss_AddPrinterDriverEx: move_driver_to_download_area failed - WERR_BAD_NET_NAME

Which suggests the problem lies in not being able to rename the temp folder. The user has full access to the folder as evidenced by the ability to create the temp folder and copy the files so why can’t it change the folder name?

Does anyone have experience with this or have info on troubleshooting the move_driver_to_download_area error?
